Avila Sea Life Center

Two weekends ago Avila Sea Life Center had their grand opening, so we headed over to check it out.  We were a little late getting there, so we just made it at the end.  But we did get to go inside and check things out.

The boys got to hold starfish (Jaxon wasn't too excited about that) and touch a bunch of other sea animals, including a sting ray and a little shark.  There were little jellyfish.  The coolest were the baby ones that you could barely see - there were hundreds of them, but you had to look real close to tell that they were jellyfish and not just specks floating in the water.

Outside they had a bounce house for the kids to play on.  Jonah was so excited 'cause it was free.  (Usually we don't let him go in, 'cause I don't wanna pay $10 to have my kid pushed around by big kids...what a mean mom, I know!)  Jaxon didn't like it at first, but Jonah helped him out and he finally got the knack of it and had fun.
