We were very lucky to have Brandaan, Melissa, Kaden & Reese here for the 4th. They were supposed to fly back to Idaho on the 3rd, but their flight was canceled and they couldn't get a flight until the 5th. Soooo, we had a lots o' fun!
Jonah & Kaden had so much fun together. They had their moments...more often then we'd all like...but Jonah just loved having his buddy around.
Reese & Jaxon were funny together. One minute they were fighting over a toy, the next they were hugging and kissing on each other. One things for sure...they both like balls and shoes.
We had a good Independence Day. Brandaan & Melissa bar-b-qued and made us a yummy lunch. Then we headed to the beach to brave the crowds. It's no wonder why I have NEVER actually been on the beach at Pismo on the 4th...there was supposedly over 100,000 people there on the beach with us...yuck! We had to park like 10 blocks away (thank goodness for strollers!), but the kids had so much fun in the sand.
When the fireworks finally started, the kids were SO tired, but VERY excited. Jaxon called the fireworks "boom, boom." He and Reese were the most mesmerized.
Brandaan, Melissa, Kaden & Reese - thanks for all the fun! We're SO glad you came to visit (even though your flight was canceled, we were happy to spend more time with you!) We miss you already!

Looks like you guys had a great time on the 4th and a great visit! Love the picture of Jonah with his pirate shirt and pirate ship...does he always coordinate his outfits with his toys? haha:) Great pictures!
