And Steve too, but we unfortunately still have to miss him 'cause he stayed home and was "responsible"...what's up with that? :-)
We met them all in Guada., had some yummy Mexican food, and showed them around the new studio. Then the kids were off to play. They went down to the beach for a little bit, then headed to the pool (Sara & Addyson came with Ma & Papa and they all stayed in a hotel so we got to swim!)
The kids had so much fun in the pool (mainly the hot tub). Jaxon made sure that Woody got a bit of the fun too.
These two were like 2 peas in a pod. They sure love being together! Something special about these 2...they practically share a b-day. Addy's is the day before Jonahs, but if it hadn't been leap year, they would be exactly 1 year apart! Jonah thinks thats pretty cool!
Addyson is a really good swimmer! She could swim all the way across the pool under water even! I was pretty impressed! Jonah was too and wanted to learn how to swim like his "younger" cousin, so she gave him some lessons.
The first night Sara and Addyson stayed the night with us, so the next morning we showed them around our place. We went and visited the cows and the kids got to feed them.
Addyson was cracking us up, 'cause she was not about to let the cows get their food without working for it! She played tug o' war with the corn stalk and the cow...it was really funny...she's a tough little cookie!
Next we headed to the beach. Jax took his time getting in the water, but once he did, he had an absolute blast!

Look how cute Addyson is in her glasses! Her and Jonah built some great tunnels in the sand!

Addyson is quite the dare devil in the water!

Jonah tried to keep up and had a blast doing it!

I guess there was another Jax on the beach, 'cause we found this written in the sand!
Unfortunately my video camera died way too early in their visit, but we had such a fun time! The girls (Sara, Ma, & I) got to sneak away for lunch for a bit while Papa watched the kids on the beach. Then Sara & I took the kids on the pier. Poor little Addyson lost 1 of her crocs and she was devastated. Sara went down to see if it had washed up and as she was looking, up popped a pink croc. I still can't believe she found it!
We visited Avila Barn on their way out. The kids had fun feeding the animals and running around the grass. I think it was like Mormon day there or something - we saw friends from church from SLO, Nipomo, Pismo, and Shell Beach...not every day that happens! Jonah loves Avila Barn for the candy store, which luckily (and I don't know how it happened) we avoided altogether this time. Jaxon on the other hand would be perfectly happy just walking around the barn eating all the fruit. He picked cherries and nectarines and ate them all before we got home!
We had so much fun with all of you - Ma, Papa, Sara, Addyson! Come again real soon!
