Happy Valentine's Day!

I'm a day late on my post, but just wanted to wish you all a happy Valentine's day!  We didn't really do anything out of the ordinary...David wasn't feeling real good, I cleaned the house (2 or 3 times, but amazingly its still a mess!), the boys played as usual...really a normal Saturday.  David and I are going down to LA together this weekend and don't like braving the Valentine's crowd, so we opted to stay in.  BUT, David did deliver and he made me a delicious dinner.  On the menu was stuffed/rolled beef w/goat cheese, spinach, and peppers, a mighty delicious salad w/spinach, nectarines, Gouda, pistachios, and a little olive oil & balsamic, all accompanied by a very fine pomegranate sparkling drink (the boys LOVED the plastic glasses...so fancy!).  VERY GOOD!  Thank you lover boy, it was amazing...you're the best!

Other than fine dining, we were mighty busy around here this weekend.  Although it has been SO stinkin' windy, it has not been raining, but since the rain is supposed to start up again tonight (we're supposed to get 5" just tonight), we thought we'd better stock up on firewood.  

Then just for fun we went orange picking.  It was fun having David help me (the boys aren't really much help, especially when they ask me to peel an orange every 2 minutes!).  Ya think we got enough?  My favorite are the clementines...mmm, better than Cuties!  Then we thought we deserved a little reward for all of our hard work...some freshly squeezed orange juice.  Oh so good!
