- Jonah was crying because he skinned his knee real bad. He didn't want to put medicine on it, so David was trying to talk him into it saying "The doctor told Mommy that this is the best medicine for owies!" Jonah said, "No, you're wrong Daddy, Jesus Christ is the best thing!"
-We had the funniest conversation last night (well it wasn't really a conversation, it was more like Jonah rambling on and on to whoever might be listening) and here's how it went: "One time Grandpa had a tattoo on his arm up here [points to his upper arm] of a fish-a blue fish-and when he moves it [his arm], the fish's fins move like its swimming."
"Then he had a tattoo on his armpit and when he squeezed his arm down, it says "I am Iron Man." And he got a big Hulk-the bad Hulk-one on his tummy and when he moves his tummy, it turns into the good Hulk. but this is the one that he really doesn't want people to know about - it has flames and a lazor."

"The coolest one ever is the one on his back. Its of a guitar and when he goes to sleep, it goes [singing] "dunna, dunna, dunna, dunna, dun, dun." He said that Grandma gets really mad because it wakes her up-and Carina-and Elise. I REALLY wish I had that one!"
"But don't tell grandpa, he'll get really mad that I told you. But he washed them, so they're gone now."
Then he proceeded to tell me about Grandpa's many other non-existing tattoos (yes, that's right, my dad has NO tattoos!) and each one was "the coolest one ever that I just can't keep my eyes off of."

Dad's getting quite a reputation with the Grandkids. A couple weeks ago, my kids thought he looked like a pirate when we talked to him on Skype and wanted to get him a gold earring and a parrot for Christmas:)
