We had a fun couple of days. Friday David brought Jaxon to work with him for a couple of hours, so I had a few hours ALL to myself until Jonah came home from school. Even though most of that time was spent cleaning my house, it sure was nice being able to do even that without Jaxon attached to my leg. When Jonah got home we went on a walk just the two of us - it was nice to have a little time with just my Jonah Kai.
It was so fun watching him fly down the dirt road in his Spiderman costume and boots.
David's parents came to town Friday night and stayed until this morning. David's mom had not yet seen our house since we've moved here, so it was fun showing her around. It was fun to be able to be the ones sending THEM home with some tomatoes (they're usually the ones doing that for us, but its been too hot for tomatoes there this summer!).
Jaxon thought this watermelon was a ball (even at this moment he's pointing to it saying "ball, ball"), so he rolled it all around my living room.
My boys enjoyed it even more one we cut it open!
Jonah had fun "fighting" Papa while Jaxon stole his hat and got a kick out of putting it on over his eyes. He got in on the action once the wrestling started!
This morning while Ma & Papa were loading their car, Jaxon brought me these sweatbands to put on, then he put Jonah's shoes on and paraded comfidently around like this...
Thanks for coming Ma & Papa! We had so much fun! We miss you already!
