David has been working so hard lately, that we don't get to see a whole lot of him and we certainly don't ever have enough time (at least daylight) to go do anythig fun with him. So Thursday he was supposed to record, but the person canceled, so we made a day of it! We had so much fun. We started the day off driving around Arroyo Grande looking for an area we'd like to move to (we found some awesome places!). Then we went to Avila Barn (yes, it was actually open!)
We fed the animals - they have sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, donkeys, ponies, emus, a cow, more goats, peacocks, and bunnies.
This was Jaxon's reaction to the baa-ing sheep.
He loved the animals until he got close, then they kinda scared him.
The best part for Jax was riding on Daddy's shoulders.
Goats are such oinkers...you'd think they hadn't eaten in days.
My favorite is always the peacock...its SO beautiful! There's a peahen too, but she's not as pretty.
After Avila Barn we went to the theater and David and Jonah shot webs (aka silly string) out back.
Later that night David was taking pictures of the marque all lit up and Jonah said "take a picture of me, Daddy," and posed - it was so funny!
While Jonah was watching SpongeBob, a few friends stopped by. Isn't this a kids tv paradise?

What a fun day! I'm sure your kids were so glad to have daddy all to themselves!
Don't you love having your husband around? Not only for some adult conversation but to have someone to help with the kids!
