May Update

It's been a couple weeks since I posted anything, so here goes another marathon posting session.  

First off, here's the final 3 picts of my sister Carina that she chose for her announcements - just thought I'd share.

Our garden is looking great.  Last year we were more than blessed to have a landlord who did all the work and let us have as many tomatoes and produce as we wanted.  This year we decided to pitch in, so we go down and weed every now and then.  It's a BIG job.  Jonah was made for the outdoors.  He love, love, LOVES to work in the garden.  Weeding is his thing :)  So this was the first time we went down.

On our way back we were walking through the orchard and noticed that one of our apple trees is growing apples.  They're still real small and very sour, but fun to look forward to.  Our cactus is also growing fruit and flowers.  I'm not brave enough to try it (it IS edible), but it sure looks cool right now.

Jax isn't much help in the garden, in fact we spend a lot of time shooing him away from the plants so he doesn't trample them, but he DOES love watering.  So when we got back, he watered our strawberries and flowers.

Jax (as you know from previous posts) was sick for a long time.  Thankfully he's on new allergy and asthma meds, so he's doing much better.  But in the midst of the sickies, I can always tell when he's not feeling good when he just plops on the floor somewhere and falls asleep.  It doesn't matter how tired my boys are, they don't do this EVER.

Notice Woody?  Um, yeah, Jax is very rarely found without him by his side.
