Last night my boys were taking a bath as they often do (or not). When it came time to wash their hair, Jonah thought they both needed mohawks. Jaxon thought that was pretty funny too. Much to their dismay their hair was too heavy and the spike kept going limp. (Man, who are their parents? Letting them grow their hair out like that...where's those scissors??) :)

No, this is not just a big mess of cans from my pantry, but rather an architectural masterpiece! Every now and then my boys think it is a good idea to take all my cans out of the cupboard and build things with them (and roll them all around, and dent a few and of course leave them out for me to trip over). Tonight Jonah decided he needed (yes, NEEDED - his words, not mine) to build a can castle and that is just what he did! Isn't it grand? (by the way, those cans on their sides are the moat)

We had an awesomely relaxing day today. It was SO nice out (its still in the high 70's), so after we picked Jonah up from the bus, I grabbed the boys their lunch and we hung out outside for the next few hours. The boys helped me rake leaves and Jonah tried to teach Jax how to climb a tree. Usually Jaxon (or sometimes Jonah) wonders (or rather runs) off, but he just stayed right up where I could see him, following Jonah around everywhere. He's been Jonah's little shadow lately. Anything Jonah says or does, Jaxon tries to do too. Jonah loves it. He thinks its really funny to say, "Jaxy, say..." and see how Jaxon copies what he said. It is rather funny, except when he starts telling him to say stuff like, toot, poopoo, peepee, booger, bloody...you get the picture (what's up with boys and their bodily functions?).
