Everyone needs a Girl's Weekend

Since Sara, Steve, and Addyson moved to Virginia, we haven't been able to see much of them, it is a real treat to see them when they are here.  Unfortunately we never get to see them for long even when they do come.  Last Thursday Sara and Addyson (Steve had to get back to dental school, so he left early) came over to spend some time with us.  So Jonah and Addyson got their one-on-one quality cousin time together.  We went to the beach, then headed back to Aunt Janieces where the kids played in the hot tub forever.  We are SO glad that you girls came over...we had lots of fun!

Jaxon had fun playing badminton with himself.

Jonah & Addyson hot tubbin'!  They spent like 3 hours in there "swimming."

Jaxy loved the dvd player and headphones in Aunt Heidi's new ride...I just liked the car!

Jonah, Dylan (DJ & Rachel's youngest), Addyson (Sara & Steve's), & Jaxon.

Friday morning David loaded the kids (Jonah, Jaxon, and Addyson) into our little rental PT Cruiser (don't ever buy one-they're really sucky!), which was quite a site with 2 carseats and a booster crammed in the back seat.  We turned a dvd on and they were off to Visalia for the weekend!

Every year all of us girls on David's mom's side of the family get together at Janiece's beach house in Pismo Beach and have a Girl's Weekend (thanks again Janiece!).  It's something I look forward to all year long...not just because I get a little break from life and my kids, but because I have so much fun with my Radmacher sisters!  Usually we have 14 of us there, but this year there was only 7 (well 8 if you include Baby Dylan), so it was quiet and relaxing!  We shopped lots, ate lots of good food (yeah, we ate out pretty much every meal this year so we didn't have to cook or do any dishes for 4 days!), watched some chic-flicks that our husbands wouldn't watch with us, and had lots of girl bonding moments!  Unfortunately there was no dancing, fasion shows, or karaoke, but we did enjoy the beach and hot tubbing!  I think everyone should have a Girl's Weekend!  We missed all of you who couldn't make it this year!

As all good things must unfortunately come to an end, Sunday I headed back to Visalia with the rest of the girls to meet our warn out husbands and dirty, naked children.  They had so much fun, but the fun was not yet over!  We stayed 1 more night...Jonah wishes we'd move there!  Here's a few hightlights...

Jaxon grabbed a mango Kerns and hung out in the empty kiddy pool.

Jonah found some old nail polish in the garage and was trying to paint everything.  So to get him from painting his entire body, I agreed to let him paint my toenails.

Oh so beautiful!

This is the real way to use nail polish!

Jonah and Alec like to climb under the trampoline and catch toads...yuck!

We found out that Jaxon LOVES corn dogs!
